US Border Patrol agents found a body on the banks of the Rio Grande River near International Bridge II in an area known as Las Adjuntas in Maverick County on Wednesday, June 28.

The 16-year-old male who went missing in the Rio Grande while trying to cross into the US with a group the night of Monday, January 23 has yet to be found.

   The Eagle Pass Fire Department responded to an incident at the Rio Grande River at approximately 10:00 p.m. Monday night after US Border Patrol requested assistance in finding a missing person.
